The Community for Catholic Moms

Newsweek states that Obama knows more about catholics than the pope.

Newsweek posted an article this month I believe entitled "Without A Doubt," in which it suggested that Barack Obama knows more about catholics than our own pope. It is completely anti- catholic and heresy. You have to read it to believe it. This article is a glimpse at how secular society and probably the new Obama administration views the catholic church. If this is the view what then of our public schools? What are government and civics classes feeding the minds of our vulnerable children? Stand firm ladies. A battle is ensuing and the way to victory begins right at the heart of our homes with the instruction and guidance of proper catechesis of our children. As baptized and confirmed catholic women we are anointed and filled already with the power of the Holy Spirit to break down these walls that have been built around our society and be a light in the darkness. It is our responsibility in fact alongside with our husbands, to ensure our children know how to defend Holy Mother Church and are armored with knowledge and the word of God to expose these lies and bring them to the light. Holy Family of Nazareth, Pray for us!

It must be a joke, you know how companies are doing "Christmas in July"? This must be "April Fool's in July". What a heresy!!!! This only confirms that my family's decision to homeschool our children IS the right thing to do. I've taught in public, charter and Catholic schools, and I've never been 100% about any of them. As mothers, we have to be very vigilant of what our children are learning in school, no matter which kind they attend...for us, homeschooling is the answer!
