About 1 generous tablespoon of sweetened condensed milk in tumbler with ice up to the top
add about 6 oz of hot strong brewed coffee (especially French Roast) poured over
stir a bit just to swirl the condensed milk around.

Best drink ever, imho. Gets better as you drink if you left some of the condensed milk undisturbed at the bottom. Mmmm.

I haven't tried it yet, but I have a jar of homemade flavored creamer in the fridge which uses sweetened condensed milk. Can't get those flavored creamers here in the UK so I make my own..."pumpkin pie spice creamer"....the sweetened condensced milk is the key...OH, and the pumpkin pie spice :)

Hmm, well, I don't know. When I was single and carefree, I used to make special trips to get these in our "little China" area (which was actually more Vietnamese). I don't know if they are really Thai or not, but they are offered in Thai and Vietnamese restaurants.

Now did you have one yet? It's a great way to use up the extra sweetened condensed milk - or you can just open a can and commit to having one every day for a week. ;-P

It sounds great! Just curious, why is it called "thai"?
