Calling for prayers as we send "kids" back to college!

Hi!
Today's the day for driving my daughter back to her university... and I can feel that lump in my gut building.... these goodbyes are always so hard! My son leaves next week.

May I ask for your prayers for these, and for all the college-bound family members we know and love? And how about a few for their parents as well?

Be assured of mine!

Comment by Jennifer Raybaud on August 26, 2009 at 12:44pm: GREAT reminder Pat for us to keep all kids heading back to school in our thoughts and prayers. I had a son start high school on Monday and my daughter is a senior this year so I'll be in "your shoes" very soon.

Must admit though as a "work at home mom" I will enjoy having part of the days for myself again. :-)

I just THINK of those days in my future, and I know it won't be easy on Mama!
So I will pray for all of the parents of college students; May they turn to their Heavenly Father with all of their worries, and trust that He will protect and guide them. I will pray for all of the students, that they will be guided by the faith and good sense, their parents instilled in them, make wise choices, and focus on building an educational foundation, that they may begin (right away if not already) living and leading the life God intended them to, when He knit them together, in their mother's womb. Amen!
