Lent

sounds like a fun job. I like secretarial types of jobs. I guess I'm a bit of a nerd as I get a kick out of playing around with newsletters and stuff like that.

I love to think that when we receive Holy Communion together at Mass, we are reconsecrating our marriage together like at our wedding. Reconciliation is something we have a hard time getting to though which I hope to work on!

Isn't it wonderful that we have the GRACES of the sacrament to humbly walk each day in this wonderful relationship we call marriage. The best thing we can do for our marriage is to frequent Holy Communion and Reconciliation often... get our weekly (…

I started out our marriage and life as a first-time mom doing work “on the side”. Once I realized I was trading my friends and family for financial freedom and personal success, I transitioned away from that business and moved on. As a way to sort of make up for lost time, I delved into motherhood and focused most all my attention and efforts on my life as a w

Sacramental Marriage

I hate ironing, absolutely and without a doubt, hate it. Maybe the problem is that it is too easy and therefore mundane. There are so many better things I could be doing with my time. I think it is even safe to say that the task of ironing my husband’s clothes has caused me some of the worst angst in all our seven years of marriage. However, when my husband asked me ever-so nicely the other day if I might be able to iron a few of his work shirts for him, I realized if I didn’t I’d be passing on… Continue

Hi! Well aside from some very good and patient friends, I love knittinghelp.com! Also, look to see if your local 4-h club or extension office or yarn store offer any classes as they can be very helpful also. I go to knittnig group on thursdays and that has been helpful too. It has been a wonderful stress-reliever! Do you crochet?
