Hi Elizabeth, Welcome to the Military Archdiocese group! Sorry for the delay, we're in the US on leave and don't have our usual internet access. :-) Where are you stationed? Come introduce yourself on the group page when you have a minute.

my little sister used to get them lots.  she still gets them every so often (she is 30 now).  she has noticed that they coincide with her cycle.  also they are worse when she eats foods that are triggers(allergens).

Remember your children are still homeschooling, still learning, even if not in the way they are accustomed to - or the way YOU are used to homeschooling them.  I have to remind myself that our kids have learned so much since Gianna's birth…

I think reading aloud is a good idea. We will probably lean on that a good bit. I'm thinking that we will at least do math- that will be my one structured/no budging thing. But everything else will be read alouds. History, religion,…

Homeschooling after infant loss

Hi-we are aiming at returning to more of a schedule in the next two weeks- easing back into schooling slowly. We lost our jedidiah when he was 13 days old back in November. I still feel so foggy and numb- I worry that schooling will be overwhelming.I am really right now just going through the motions- I feel so disconnected with my family. I try. I've not totally given up- it's just that sometimes I have a moment of clarity and I realize "how did I get here?". It makes me feel like I've been on…See More

Will do Elizabeth. Read your profile about being an Army wife, I share that role as well. Also realized your husband is not Catholic, thus being an Army Chaplin. I share the role of being the only Catholic as well as homeschooling! We have a lot in…

Poor prenatal diagnosis

A few weeks ago we found out via ultrasound hat our seventh child has a Malformation of genetic makeup called trisomy13. Two days ago we had a clearer ultrasound that piled two more things on top of that- alobar holoprosencephaly and tetrology of the fallot. These three things combined make it highly possible that the baby will die soon after birth or even before.I would love your prayers.See More
