"Mmm. Breakfast casseroles are the best! I make 'em the night before and pop 'em in the oven when I wake up. (But in the event I don't prepare the night before, cottage cheese and fruit always make a nice quick breakfast). These do…"

"Do you have a slow-cooker? If you do, you can cook grains overnight and they'll be ready in the morning. The general rule is 4 parts liquid to 1 part grain. Oats are easy and generally kid-friendly. I can't oats, but I've cooked…"

Lisa Ross replied to Emma Kung's discussion Can't get anything done
"This is a little contrary to the rest of the ideas suggested, but have you thought about using a carrier (like an Ergo) so that you can carry her on your back while you do some simple cleaning & cooking? It's not ideal but makes for a much…"

Lisa Ross replied to Arwen Mosher's discussion Burping a baby? Help!
"I use a trick I read somewhere and have loved. When burping my son, I sit him on my lap, leaning into my hand placed on his belly. The book I read said this extra pressure from the front help encourage the burp to come out. I don't know if…"
