Modest prom gown

My dd will be attending our homeschool co-op teen banquet/prom and a modest gown is required for the girls.  Does anyone know of a site online that sells stylish, yet modest long gowns for teens?  Our local dept. stores have nothing that would qualify...they must not be backless, cut out midfriffs, spagetti strapped, one shoulder or too low cut.. Any ideas are most welcome. Thanks!

I think it's a personal option, so long as the Church guidelines for fasting are observed. When I was younger I'd fast until the next morning, but as I age and my system has less tolerance for fasting, I just fast until dinnertime. On Good…

I am a Catholic convert and homeschooler to a high school student. I live on a small farm, love to read, write, garden and sew. Married to my husband and best friend for almost 30 years, Blessed with 2 lovely daughters and a great son in law.
I have been homeschooling my youngest dd for a year now. What a blessing and learning way this has been! I use the wonderful Seton Homestudy curriculum for her junior and senor year. Seton is an excellent homeschool curricula and will be adding a Pre-K curricula to their regular K-12 program. I hope to make new friends here who share in the homeschooling calling and the Faith of our Mother Church.

Hi Jennifer,

Right now I am the only Catholic in my house, but my 7th grade daughter is very interested in the Church. She already believes in Jesus' Presence in the Eucharist, and also the Church's teachings on Mary.  I am getting ready to teach her with CHC's materials.  But I am wondering what I should use for my older daughter for her junior and senior years.   Both of my girls have been in public school the past few years and it is not working out well anymore.  Anyway, thanks for any response.  God bless you and your family!
