Dear Amy Marie,
I will pray for you and your little one. Don't forget to love this baby, no matter how long you have with him or her. That was hard for me after our miscarriage, I felt like I didn't bond as soon with my little…
Eileen, I'm so sorry for the loss of your little one. I lost a baby(Mary Joseph) almost 2 years ago now. I was 10 weeks along, but the baby was only 6 week size, so like you, I had nothing tangible as a reminder. The due date…
Okay, I guess I am wordy, but I know it helped me when other women talked about their experiences. As my due date for the miscarriage approached, I realized that I was going to be almost exactly as far along with the new baby(10 weeks) as I had been…
Amy Marie,
I am so very sorry about the loss of your precious little baby girl. After I had my miscarriage in January, I had an intense longing to get pregnant again right away. After a few weeks, this faded somewhat and I was a basket case. I knew…
Well, Maria, as you can see, it has taken me even longer to respond! My excuses are 5 little ones: the 4 running around creating chaos and the one in utero(I'm 18 weeks, hooray!). We just finished our 7th week of homeschooling as well.…
Hi, Janet! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Michelle started a new job and bought a car, Angela is about to leave for her senior year at TAC, Joe his sophomore year at Benedictine, Jean is preparing his classes, and I'm doing a…
We lost our little baby to miscarriage in Jan. 2009 at about 10 weeks. She (we call her a girl) quit growing at 6 weeks, so I don't even have a sono picture of her. We named her Mary Joseph and she would have been due this Sat., Aug. 15, so…

Hi Lissa,
I was trained as a medical consultant in NaproTechnology about 10 years and used it in my medical practice while I had one (I am home with the kids now). I'm not very familiar with that kind of a chart and notations, but I think I…
Seven years ago I was a family physician just starting a practice. Then I met my husband, and long story short, I am now a stay-at-home mom with 5 children ages 5, 3, 3, 2 and one baby lost to miscarriage in Jan '09. We live out in the country on 8 acres and we are going to start homeschooling this fall. I enjoy blogging, cooking, spending time with family and friends, reading, and oh, yeah, medical stuff.

Hi, Janet! Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. Michelle started a new job and bought a car, Angela is about to leave for her senior year at TAC, Joe his sophomore year at Benedictine, Jean is preparing his classes, and I'm doing a major overhaul of our home, books, outbuildings and syllabi (which I'll be uploading to our website in case you want to take a peek at what works around here. I'd be happy to answer any questions you might have and looove sharing resources because it's so darn fun imagining others delighting in the same things that have been such fun for us.). We're starting year 22 of homeschooling, and are each really looking forward to it though also a little sad to see Angela leave again. Joe will be on campus and Ben is taking some classes at BC, so we'll see him around....plus I'm sure he'll come home now and again...maybe with a huge pile of laundry ;)...which he'll have to do himself, but he can use the machines without leaving a pile of quarters. :)
Time to take a hike with Michelle. :)
God bless you and your family!
Maria
