Corinne,
I think it's perfectly normal for you to be dreaming of your 2 little girls. You love them as a Mom and know the situation they have been returned to. Of course you're grieving for yourself and them, especially with the younger one, you're the Mom that they know and trust -- it's a loss for you all that must be grieved. I have no advice except to allow yourself to feel these things and to say a prayer to Mary and their guardian angels whenever they enter your mind...pray for their Mother's sobriety and stability and for all of their physical, emotional and spiritual safety for I imagine that's what you are most likely concerned about. Try and remember that, no matter the outcome, when the girls were with you they experienced true sacrificial love, a most important foundation for all of us. When we had a placement fall through a week before birth I offered up the pain for the baby and Mom and it at least made the sadness have meaning.
