Dear Amy Marie, I will pray for you and your little one.  Don't forget to love this baby, no matter how long you have with him or her.  That was hard for me after our miscarriage, I felt like I didn't bond as soon with my little…

My love and prayers for you. I have the same fears if we were to conceive again. I know I will be anxious until we get past those first few weeks which we did not in our first pregnancy. I pray for peace for you and your family. I ask the Blessed…

Prayers, please, please, pleas

I just discovered that I am pregnant.  With my past struggles with infertility, miscarriages, and most recently, the stillbirth of my daughter Teresa, I am scared.  I am afraid to hope too high, for fear of falling so low.  Please pray that, please God, I may have a healthy pregnancy and be holding a healthy newborn in my arms come October. Thank you so very gratefully.See More

What patience is required!  I had a stillbirth 18 months ago, followed by 3 miscarriages, followed by a loss 6 weeks ago at 19 weeks.  I have four living children and like you long for more.  I also feel a sense of loss in that in…

It has been nearly a tear and a half since we lost our daughter.  This past (late) summer, I had significantly improved emotionally, and felt it would be okay to welcome another child.  It has been five months of properly timed marital…

Wow. I read of your other losses and marvel at your continuing trust in the Lord. I have four children in heaven, including daughter Teresa, who was stillborn last September. I am still struggling immensely with this. I do hope, if even for a few…

I HIGHLY recommend the Ignatius RSV Catholic Bible. It is the most closely translated version (many other versions have problems in this area) , and I believe they offer two beautiful family heirloom quality editions. It is also the version…

I had a desperate desire to become pregnant immediately following my stillbirth at 6 months last August. I truly felt it was the only thing that could lessen the pain. In the subsequent months, I have had three miscarriages, which have significantly…

I had a stillbirth in 2002. My husband and I just decided to let nature take its course. We didn't try to get pregnant but we didn't try not to get pregnant either and in 2005 I gave birth to a healthy baby girl. She's not her…

Amy, I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I too lost a baby girl at birth 7 years ago. I still mourn her loss, but don't feel the "sting" every day as I did 7 years ago. God will take away this pain and turn it into joy. Joy in knowing that you have a little one in heaven, which is where we all want to be with all our children. My other children ask for her intercession often, as do my husband and I. I look at her as our little warrior. This comfort did not come quickly for me, but look at suffering as a redemptive process. God gave you this cross, because it is a part of your perfect salvation. God bless you and all your loved ones.
I will pray for you and your family as you mourn.
Shelly
