I have been working hard over the past 6 months to live a healthier lifestyle.  Working from home can be a blessing for getting in a little activity (nice to just walk out the door or jump on my bike) but it can also seem like many of us don't make time for it.  Weather can also be an issue depending on where you live.

I just wanted to pass on a walking DVD I enjoy and it's faith based.  Leslie Sansone is very well known for her "Walk at Home" series of DVD's.  She has a 2-mile walk I really enjoy when I need to fit a work-out in a 30-minute period of time.  It's called "Walk by Faith" and if I'm not mistaken she's a Catholic so you'll find the tune she opens her DVD with very familiar. What do you do to keep fit while working from home?

Jennifer-just wanted to second the walking at home videos. They are wonderful! I have a bunch of them and actually used them to get in shape for my wedding. For me working at home with little ones definitely has made it hard to exercise! I juggle work hours between naptimes etc. I can sometimes fit in a video at night after they are in bed. My 1 year old is an early riser, so my husband and I take turns getting up early with her. When it is his turn I can get up early and sneak in a walk. On weekends I try to fit in a longer walk or a yoga class every now and then.

Just getting up and doing some house work helps me feel more active too.
Amy - It's so cool to know that you got fit for your wedding with the walk DVD's. I've lost just about 20 pounds so far with quite a way to go but your sharing your success gives me hope! :-)

Thanks for joining in the discussion.
Noticed that the lead story on the F&F Live web site is about just this subject so that's really cool! Down 23 pounds now and continuing my journey!

I know that chasing that little one around will keep you burning those calories too, Amy!
