Time for Tea and Hospitality

1 Peter 4:9 "Use hospitality one to another without grudging." I am dedicated to showing today's busy Moms how to develop hospitality through hostessing tea parties in their homes. Don't wait until your house is "perfect" to share a cup of tea.

Tea for Life

I have 9 kids aged 10, 8, 7, 6, 4, 3, 1 & 5 months, plus one in heaven. I have often found it difficult to invite people into my home for various reasons: messy school stuff, unwashed dishes in the sink, shyness, fear of rejection, etc.

But those were pretty much excuses for not opening my heart to my neighbor. And who is my neighbor? Anyone God sends my way!

In November of 2008 I decided to let my friends know that I do indeed value their friendship and want to spend time with them and help them reach out to others as well. I found a company that promotes hospitality through TEA PARTIES! HOW FUN! and now I am an Independent Tea Consultant for Let's Do Tea and donate 10% of any profit I make to the Pro-Life cause.

I hope to share ideas for opening our homes and hearts to those around us and fostering genuine love for our fellow man. I will use this space to tell you about the teas I sell as well as ideas for parties, recipes and ways to be more hospitable. I hope you will share your ideas, too, and develop friendships through this group.

Glad you like them, Jackie! Personally, the black teas and rooibos teas are my favorites overall.

I love the teas, thanks Paula! I shared them with my bible group yesterday and the ladies who don't drink caffeine really liked the rooibos - very flavorful! I'm going to order more....

Oh, hospitality has been one of my big things since reading The spirit of Loveliness by Emilie Barnes many years ago.
I learnt much from that and other of her books.
Are people listing some of their favourite books.
I am always on the look out.
God Bless

I read a great book about this very subject called A Life That Says Welcome by Karen Ehman. I was inspired by it, and I highly recommend it.

Hi Sarah! Glad you joined. I am going to take some iced tea to some friends on the 4th of July. I haven't decided what kind yet.
