just came back from brooklyn

we had a GREAT trip. i really felt like i was up on the mountain top viewing the transfiguration. our vacation wasn't full of creature comforts but what a bath of grace!!! i just wanted to build a tent right there and live for the rest of my life.
my family benefited from staying on grounds with discerning seminarians, professed carmelites, and retired priests. we woke to church bells, had daily mass every morning at 730-with beautiful female chanting voices to accompany it, ate food prepared in the carmelite kitchens, visited with my sister very often, and finally introduced my husband to my sister. it was delightful.
