I'm pregnant with our fourth child right now and am feeling tired and rather unmotivated at times. And I love, love, LOVE to walk but I'm not always able to find the time because of errands I have to get done on the days I'm not working. Do any of you have any ideas on how I can exercise in my home that is healthy for me and the baby and not too strenuous? I would just love to get my metabolism going so I don't have a lot of recovering to do when baby is born.
I got an elliptical on sale at Big 5 and loved it! I put it outside, while the weather was nice and then moved it inside when it was too cold. Just 20 minutes a day made a huge difference in how I felt and was reflected in my energy level. (I was pregnant with my 11th!) I used it for prayer time or while watching old movies!!! Congratulations on your baby!
That will definitely be in my future plans. We don't have the room for any equipment right now, but we are in the middle of an addition and exercise equipment is something I had planned on getting once we had the room. The ellipticals look like they really give you a work-out.
On a different note... 11th!?!? WOW!! That's so wonderful!! I don't know how you found the energy! I guess once you find it and use it, it gets easier.
