Knit, crochet or sew baby blankets, infant hats and children's hats in memory of a baby girl

After the death of their firstborn infant daughter, Catholic parents Kristin and Andrew Binder founded a charity to collect items and donations to help critically ill children and their families at the Connecticut hospital where their precious Peyton waged her 28-day battle with a rare infant leukemia.

You can read more about Doing Good In Her Name online and learn about this precious baby girl who is missed greatly by her parents.

On the site Kristin says: "Homemade (knitted/quilted/fleece) blankets and hats are welcome as long as they have been washed and placed into a ziploc-type sealed bag. Knit hats of any size will go to great use. Small sizes can be used on babies in the NICU and larger sizes can be used by children undergoing chemotherapy. The zanier the hat design, the better. These kids love style!"

**Remember to mention that your donated items were inspired by this wonderful Faith & Family Community.**
