Help a Catholic Ministry for bereaved parents comfort sad parents - knit/crochet/sew

Morning Light Ministry is a Catholic ministry for bereaved mothers and bereaved fathers who have experienced the death of their baby through ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage, stillbirth or infant death up to one year old. This Catholic ministry also welcomes bereaved parents of other Christian denominations, bereaved parents of other faiths and bereaved parents of no religious affiliation who are struggling with the very notion of faith.

Many parents who seek comfort from Morning Light Ministry live in the United States and Canada.

Morning Light Ministry received Apostolic Blessings from His Holiness Pope John Paul II in January 2000 and November 2003.

As part of their outreach to bereaved parents, Morning Light Ministry mails out special keepsakes in memory of the babies. These include lovely handmade cross bookmarks and tiny stuffed fabric heart pillows (they fit in the palm of a mother's hand).

Donations of crosses and hearts would be welcome and these precious mementoes help parents as they journey through the darkness of grief towards His Morning Light whether the death of their baby occurred recently or several years ago.
