The Diary of St. Maria Faustina Kowalska~
Is there already a discussion for this book here?
I've recently started reading it. I had started several times and then could not remember where I'd left off. So now I am starting again from the very beginning, and am planning to read some every day.

One very sobering thing right near the beginning of the book...St. Faustina was told by Jesus that she would suffer one day in purgatory...and was asked by Him if she wanted to suffer there later, or do her suffering on earth.

I thought, if she merited a day there, what does that say for me? Yikes!
But it is a thing of mercy, that purgatory exists.

Is anyone here reading this or have something they'd like to share?
