I've been in the Hartford archdiocese for close to 7 years now, formerly from the Albany diocese. I took the lay ministry formation class thru the archdiocese but haven't put it to use (Mommyhood took precedence). I must say I was saddened by the open dissent often present in the class...but it did serve to give me insight into the thought process behind the dissent.
