Previewed this video shown on CNN and it really hit home.  http://http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/health/2010/02/20/nr.levs.e...
My son Stephen,  a freshman in college was on his way home from the University as a back seat passenger on a rainy fall afternoon. Awaiting his arrival, I was busy preparing his favorite dinner when I received a phone call from my son Stephen telling me that "he kinda got into a car accident." Although I was concerned I figured everything was okay. He sounded actually very calm, cool and collected.  On the contrary, The car had flipped and Stephen was still upside down with his seatbelt on. THANK YOU GOD. My husband and I abruptly left the house and approached the scene of the accident which was only a mile up the road.

(As (best friend) driver entered a hard turn in the wet road ahead, the car hydroplaned, flipped twice and  landed upside down.)

I often think, I cant believe they made the 3 hr drive with only a mile left and he was almost safely home. However approaching the scene of the accident was horrifying, The street was lined with many rescue trucks working to free the boys from the flipped smashed up piece of metal. Trying to remain calm by breathing and remembering he spoke to me just minutes ago and was okay. I repeatedly was saying to myself as I paced the street right where the car laid upside down over and over again  "Dear God in Heaven."

On  a lighter note approximately 15 minutes later the boys came out one by one with only a few scratches from the broken the glass. Stephen was the last one to come out with laptop in hand passing it safely to the rescue worker. It made everyone laugh....
Moral of the story.... Wear your seatbelt.... it saved my sons life..
