Hi, Danielle (and everyone!),

I'm so excited that you've set up forum pages for Faith & Family. I'm sure it will be wonderful to be able to chat with other Catholic moms in a supportive online environment.

I'm a recovering lawyer, current homemaker, and expectant first-time mom. This baby is a HUGE answer to prayer for us; we tried for over three years to get pregnant. Now we're eagerly awaiting our son's arrival in September!

One more tidbit: Arwen's adorable son, Blaise, is my godson. Call me biased, but I think he's the cutest godson in the world.
Thank you for all the new opportunities and aspects of F&F! I am excited to connect with more Catholic moms. Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but maybe Diocesan forums for people in a certain area to connect about what is going on in their local community/Diocese/Archdiocese. I know my husband and I would love to meet more Catholic families in our area for socializing and support, but find ourselves struggling to do so. Or would that be considered an idea for forming a "Group"? (Still new to the blog world.) (:

Thanks again for everything you and all our other Mom-Bloggers do for F&F!
That is a great idea and perfect for a group idea --- I'll start an Archdiocese of Hartfod group now.
Thanks! So, forgive my ignorance, what is the difference between a group and a forum?
I 'm not sure -- I just figured the group wouldn't get lost in the que as I think older forum questions would. I'm just barely computer literate.
Good point! Thanks!
Hello. Just checking things out today.
This is so great! I like this so much better than Myspace or Facebook. Great idea.
I'm excited to join this new forum, it looks great! I'm a 26 year old SAHM to 2 year old twins and expecting my third late July. My husband and I have only recently come back to the Catholic Church so we don't have many (practicing) Catholic friends, F&F gives me support and inspiration every day. I'm excited to meet everyone!
Hi,
I personally am almost overwelmed with everything that is here !
Thank you for all you do !
Very nice site! Looking forward to using it and meeting moms here.

I'm an at-home wife and mother of two.
Hi Danielle - and All Blogging Moms out there!

I DO love everything you guys have added this week! But I have a question. I hate to be annoying but really need a bit of guidance as I'm new at the blogging scene. I added a forum question "Creating a Group - HELP" and haven't gotten much response.

"I'm wondering how much responsibility goes in to the Groups when you create one. I created the Arch. of Balt. Group because I would love to get in touch w/other Catholic moms around me, but I don't know that I am up for facilitating a successful Group.

If it is just a matter of setting it up and letting people join/comment at will, then that is great! But if there is more that I should be doing since I created it - I would like to know what exactly those things are. I'm not in a place where I can commit to lots of blogging responsibility and would prefer to delete the group and let someone else create it, then join.

I hate to sound like a slacker, but I just don't want to start something I can't keep up with - if that is what it involves. "

You are a professional blogger. What should I do?

Thanks so much!
Michele

PS:

Maybe there could be a "New to Blogging?" section with a few tips, glossary of frequently used acronyms and such.
