I lke the idea of a social networking site here. I'm on Facebook, but am not really comfortable with it in some ways. This looks like a nice alternative. I'll have to browse more later!

Like Michelle, it takes me a moment to familiarize myself w/ new pages and settings, but this looks great!

I'm trying to get myself acquainted w/ what it offers. Is it like Facebook?
Does it offer us email and blogs and all that jazz?

Hi Cay,

Yes, Faith & Family Connect is similar to Facebook-- you can friend people, upload your own photos, videos, create & join groups, and participate in the discussion forum. And yes, you can create your own blog posts too.

Hi all - this looks like a lot of fun!

The one confusing thing when I signed on is that I already had a password from something else that uses the same ning.com. It *was* easy to get a new password, but this may be a common problem as I think it was a homeschool social community that used the same software (but I don't remember for sure), in any case, already having a password was quite unexpected!

I think a recipe forum would be awesome....especially if the recipe makes enough to feed a larger family! Did you ever notice that most recipes only make 4 servings?
