Faith and Family Connect

The Community for Catholic Moms

Just looking through the latest issue and reading the information about planning family nights. I'm a single girl, so no experience here other than my own happy upbringing. I was just thinking that another option might be old time radio. Some of those old horror and mystery shows are wildly entertaining and usually okay, content-wise. My favorite source is www.relicradio.com, where they offer the shows as a free download or you can subscribe to their podcast via iTunes. Some of the shows from the 70s might be a little more suggestive, but I haven't really been shocked by anything so far. The horror varies between mildly creepy, gothic, to downright scary, but nothing too gory and certainly not to the extent of current horror movies.

Just a resource if you ladies and gents are looking for alternatives. Audio books might be fun, too.
