Any homeschoolers of high school students from Kansas here?

Hi!

I'm a relatively new Catholic homeschooler of a 10th grader in HS. I use Seton Homestudy, and live in central KS. Any Catholic homeschoolers to high schoolers in Kansas on this forum? :)

Hi, Jennifer,
I'm not new to Faith and Family, but I've never officially joined the forum, so here goes. We have an 11th grade girl and just moved to Kansas this school year. We live in the NE part of Kansas, so I'm sure we'd be a good bit away from each other. We have been home schooling since the beginning, though, and we are using Kolbe for High School. I've got another high schooler coming up the pike, and may use a combination of curricula with her. If you'd like to talk more, you can reach me at thoopes@familink.com

Hi April! Thanks for responding! NE Kansas is about 3 hours away. ( Been to KC many times to shop, see friends, ect) I'd love to talk with you about Kolbe, how you plan on combining curricula, what you do for enrichment/extra-curricula activities. Where I am at in central KS, it's a challenge to find outside activities for homeschooled high schoolers. DD was public schooled for 10 years too...and misses the 'socialization'. I'm a newbie, so I am still learning on lots of areas. I'll email you....Thanks again. Jennifer
